Life motto: “Happiness can be found in the darkness of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”

What does being Australian mean to you?: As an Australian women, I feel so lucky that our country is striving towards equality for both men and women. I am grateful for the sun, the snow, the rain and the beaches. We have it all. Being Australian means we don’t take ourselves to seriously, we can laugh at ourselves and make light of unfortunate situations. We have access to some of the best healthcare in the world and I feel so grateful to be able to raise my daughter in a society where we can have a say in who runs our country and how we want to live. I think the most important part of being Australian is sticking by your mates and always having there back. Friendship is so important and I feel like we are all very welcoming and friendly country. We live in a country that celebrates multi culturalism and accepts people from all walks of life. So what does being Australian mean to me? It means I get to raise my little family in the best country in the world and for that I always feel grateful. Oh and vegemite, I love the vegemite.
