Life motto: Never let it be said that to dream is a waste of time, for dreams are our realities in waiting.  In dreams we plant the seeds of our future.
I love that quote about about the dreamer.  TE Lawrence went on to add “those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds awake to find that it was vanity; but dreamers of day are dangerous men, that they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible”.   It’s this sort of dreaming that I encourage, the type where your eyes and heart are wide open.  It’s the awareness that comes from being fully present when creating those dreams that holds the power of creation.   Creation of a life full of joy and love.   It is the reaching out with love to another that is important, not the results.  Reach out with love.  Reach out with love and compassion and do not worry about the outcomes.  It is through this love that real healing occurs, the healing of the heart.  I believe your tragedies, your sorrow, your heart break did not happen to you but for you.  It is the things that break us down and crack us open that are a blessing for the world needs you open.  Only an open mind and heart can let wisdom flow in.  Only an open heart can show your passion.  It is through expressing, your desires, your passion, your dreams that others will see the possibilities in their own lives.  I am extremely concerned about the emotional health of our planet and want to contribute to that conversation.
Lets get together to give a voice to humanity.

What does being Australian mean to you?: Australia is my home.  I didn’t get that choice like a lot of other Australians.  I was born here.  A lot of people, mainly politicians, call Australia “the lucky Country” and they are right we are very lucky, most of us.  We are not regularly threatened by natural disasters capable of wiping out thousands. We have not been subjected to revolution or civil war.   We have not been targeted by terrorists on a scale that has applied to other nations.  At times we may have issues but on the whole we remain a peaceful and prosperous people.  We have been lucky enough to enjoy immigration, diversity and resettlement by many people, from many cultures from around the world.  Whatever each person’s reason for coming, they have brought with them lots of little bits from everywhere and we are putting them together like a stain glass window to make the whole of what it is to be Australian.
Although we all love the idea that being Australian is eating vegemite, having a Barbie and sayin “she’ll be right, Mate, no worries”.  To me, being Australian is a lifelong project, a work in progress, something that is constantly being refined, added too, upgraded and reinvented.  And that is truly what being an Australian is.
